FreeFixer is a tool that assists in the removal of malicious software, such as adware, spyware, trojans, viruses and worms.

Do not mistake it for an anti-virus utility however. What FreeFixier does, is it scans through locations where unwanted software often leaves traces and gives you the option to easily remove what you want. These locations would include, for example, what applications are set to run at startup, plug-ins and Internet settings.

Once you get the scan results it is up to you what you wish to do with them. Do not use this tool unless you are sure you are savvy enough to spot something suspicious, and that you know enough to be able to recover from a mistake that you make.
