USBLogView, from NirSoft, is a freeware monitoring utility that gathers information on USB devices.
The utility runs in the background and logs information as USB devices are connected to, and disconnected from the system. For each log line created, the utility displays information such as Event Type (Plug/Unplug), Event Time, Device Name, Description, Device Type, Drive Letter (For storage devices), Serial Number (Only for some types of devices), Vendor ID, Product ID, Vendor Name, Product Name and more.
The log can be exported as HTML, XML or CSV.
This utility will work on any version of Windows between Windows 2000 and Windows 7.
