Anti-WebMiner is a tool that protects your computer against the stealth use of cryptocurrency miners.

For example, some websites (torrent sites etc.) will run scripts that effectively mine cryptocurrency for their owners. Typically this means that your idle CPU cycles will be used up by the mining process, which slows down your computer''s performance, increases CPU temperature and draws more current from your power supply unit and/or battery.

There are many ways to block these stealth cryptocurrency mining scripts. This particular tool does so by modifying your hosts file in Windows to block known servers associated with mining.

Simply run it and click Protect!
