NoVirusThanks SWF Blocker is a simple tool that will block the opening of any SWF files in Windows.
This utility uses a whitelist approach and will automatically block any flash objects that do not reside in the whitelist. By default, all system processes (such as explorer.exe, svchost.exe, etc) are automatically allowed to open SWF files.
For security reasons some administrators would opt to block most Flash objects.
