Intelligent Shutdown is an application that lets you schedule a shutdown operation, or have one triggered by certain criteria.

You can schedule your computer to shut down, log off, restart, hibernate etc. at a given time. Alternatively, it can monitor the system for things like CPU load and determine a good time to shut down.

The whole point of the tool is to avoid needlessly consuming power by shutting down a PC when its not in use.
