ResourcesExtract from NirSoft is a freeware utility that can scan executable (exe), DLL or OCX files and extract resources from them.
The resources could be, for example, bitmaps, icons, HTML files, AVI movie files, cursors and so forth. It will extract all the resources it finds to whatever folder you specify.
You can choose from resources to keep. Your options are Icons, Bitmaps, Animated Icons, AVI Files, Type Libraries, Cursors, HTML Related Resources, Animated Custors, Manifest Resources and "Other" files.
ResourcesExtract runs on most versions of the Windows operating system.
