Rufus is a free utility that can help with creating a bootable USB drive.

It handles everything from formatting a USB key to transferring files for a bootable USB drive. It is very useful for creating Windows and Linux installation bootable USB (from an ISO), or if you want to boot into an OS on a system without one.

It can also help if you want to flash your motherboards' BIOS, for example.
