Symantec Trojan.Initbar Removal Tool v2.2.2.0

This tool is designed to remove the infections of Trojan.Initbar.

Close all running programs and disable System Restore if running on Windows XP. This program will terminate any infected process, delete any associated files on the HDD related to it, and will clean any suspicious registry entries associated with it.

You will need to have full administrative rights to run this removal tool successfully on Windows XP.
Once completed, restart your computer and run the tool again to ensure the infection is completely gone.

If an infection still persists, then enter Safe Mode and try the removal tool. You can get into Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key while the computer is booting.
